How soon can I walk after total knee replacement surgery?

Knee Replacement in Livonia

Although shoulder surgery is less common than knee or hip surgery, it is just as successful in relieving joint pains, it was originally performed to treat severe shoulder fractures. Over the years, shoulder surgery has come to be used for many other painful shoulder conditions, such as different forms of arthritis.

Shoulder surgery treats a broad range of problems including rotator-cuff tears, arthritis, instability, fractures and revision surgery. If nonsurgical treatments like medications and activity changes are no longer helpful for relieving pain, a doctor will likely recommend shoulder joint replacement surgery, which is when you should contact our dedicated shoulder surgeons if you are in Livonia.

Shoulder Surgery Livonia
If you have shoulder orthopedic problems in Livonia, you know how difficult it can be to do simple things, such as raise your arm; pick up a child; throw a ball, and many other everyday activities.
The shoulder is a very complex joint that allows us a great range of movement and flexibility.

It is also susceptible to injury due to the delicate construction and balance of the bones, ligaments, tendons and muscles that comprise the shoulder joint. The shoulder consists of three bones: the collarbone (clavicle), the arm bone (humerus) and shoulder blade (scapular). Muscles and tendons help keep these bones in place, providing strength and stability in the joint.

The shoulder is made up of two joints: the acromioclavicular joint (AC joint) and the glenohumeral joint (GH joint). The AC joint is located between the clavicle and the bony prominence on the upper-edge of the scapula, called the acromion. The GH joint is a ball and socket type joint which permits a significant amount of movement in the shoulder.

No matter whether your condition was caused by a sport, work accident or otherwise, we welcome the chance to serve you.

Quick in and out within a half hour. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Eric Schweller explained everything and didnโ€™t leave out any information. Happy to be seen by him for my injury.
Dr. Eric Schweller is absolutely awesome! When he is explaining what is happening, he is very honest and sincere and talks to you, not at you or down to you. Lisa in reception is top notch as well, super nice and friendly.
The staff was very courteous and friendly. Dr. Schweller was amazing. He explained everything very thoroughly and went over the procedure and explained how it would be done and what my recovery would be like. When he rewrapped my leg he made sure that I was comfortable with it. The entire staff did an excellent job. ๐Ÿค›๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿค๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
